HSRHA MEMBERSHIP

The Hawaiʻi State Rural Health Association (HSRHA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission of ‘working together to promote healthy rural communities’ is achieved through its broad-based network of members from all communities in Hawaiʻi, including grassroots advocates, local rural health association members, health practitioners and public health professionals.

As an active member of the National Rural Health Association, HSRHA participates in national and local health initiatives to improve rural health; promotes the inclusion of grassroots input into statewide health planning; supports rural health workforce development and retention; and advocates for access to health services for rural areas throughout Hawaiʻi. It serves as a clearinghouse for rural health issues in Hawaiʻi.
